Our Work
Here is a collage of our most significant work as a team. They include events we hosted, platforms, and other initiatives that helped achieve our aim: make the society more aware on human rights.
01
Blog
Our blog is a free, easily accessible archive managed by Aanya Shah. Whenever there is a significant social issue, we release an article that outlines the conflict and its implications on human rights. Informative, thorough, and well researched, the platform helps educate the youth online.
02
Instagram Page
Instagram is popular among our target audience: the youth. Shagun Jain and Aryaan Shaikh are in charge, along with Aanya Shah as the content curator. We post excerpts of our blog and constantly interact and repost content from platforms like UN to expose our followers to a wide range of human rights organizations and their resources.
03
Twitter & Threads
While we found Twitter to be not as efficient as Threads, both have proven to be immensely helpful in posting our content and connect with the youth. They went hand-in-hand with our blog and Instagram Page. Our socials head is Aanya Shah
04
YouTube
Our Youtube Channel Posted several educational videos on social issues regarding Human Rights like our blog. Ansh Doshi and Hridaan Gala are in charge of writing the script, editing and curating the content for our videos and Virika Doshi is our narrator.
05
LinkedIn, headed by Hridaan Gala allows us to reach the youth in the professional world. He also posts blogs on our page there, expanding the vast range of resources we offer.
06
Discord Server
Discord is used widely among teenagers and our server provides them with a safe, encouraging and informal platform to discuss the importance of Human Rights. It has been created and Moderated by Hridaan Gala
07
Make It Right Debate
This is the 2-day debate we hosted, ‘Make It Right’ on our Discord server. Participants took part in 2 debates, with the topic ‘Should countries decrease the budget allotted to refugees?’ and ‘Should uniform civil code be implemented in all
countries?’. It was judged and moderated by Ansh Doshi and Hridaan Gala, and the registration was handled by Aanya Shah.
08
Interview
We had the privilege to interview Mr. Yogesh Sadhwani, a crime reporter who was able to give us valuable insights on criminal behavior and its connection with human rights exploitation, and a better global perspective on the same. The interview was organized by Aanya Shah and conducted collectively as a team.
09
16 Days Of Activism
We took part in advocating for action against GBV by running our own campaign for #16daysofactivsm led by Aanya Shah on Instagram, where we interacted with organisations like United Nations and posted content in the form of posts, polls, surveys and reels, providing our audience with resources to educate them on the issue. The issues covered this year included refugee rights , LGBTQIA+ rights, sexual violence, AIDS awareness, technology-facilitated GBV, and the negligence to some forms of VAW. All our co-founders pledged to create a safer, more equal world. One marker of the success of our campaign is the fact that we were recognised by the UN across our social media accounts. Our post, that spoke about how we pledged to prevent GBV was reposted by @unwomenindia. We are also grateful to them for liking 2 of our other posts. The Sidhast Foundation, too, recognised our efforts.
